Our Story
Andrea K. Lunkins has been a Licensed massage therapist for over 25 years. She is a Nationally Board-Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed in Maryland & New York State. Ms. Lunkins is a graduate of the Swedish Institute College of Health Science. In 2023, she earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration. Certified in Event Sports Massage Specialist (ESMS) and Thai Massage. She has worked as a St. John’s (SJ) Men’s Basketball sports massage therapist and with SJ’s Women’s Track team. Ms. Lunkins’ was a member of the Sports Massage team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. She has enjoyed working with other prominent clientele, including WNBA & NBA players, Olympic Track & Field Medalists, and professional women tennis players at the US Tennis Open. As well as celebrities/entertainers needing relaxation and/or therapeutic massage.
On a corporate level, Ms. Lunkins extended her practice to include chair massage for many companies, including New York University, The Mercantile Exchange, Solomon Brothers, and Maimonides Hospital. She received a Phenomenal Woman award from 98.7 WRKS KISS FM for her achievements. Ms. Lunkins’ was featured in the September 2005 issue of Essence Magazine. She also appeared on the CBS Early Morning Show during National Massage Week. She’s appeared on ESPN (The Season: ST. John’s Men’s Basketball team), MSG (The Redstorm Report), and BET television stations. Ms. Lunkins’ has also been featured on 98.7 WRKS KISS FM(NYC) radio station.
During the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Ms. Lunkins volunteered her time to offer massages to police officers, firemen, and other workers near the World Trade Center site. In 2012-2014, Andrea was a medical and massage instructor to prospective students at a few technical schools in New Jersey. She taught anatomy, kinesiology, physiology, personal psychology, pathology, law & ethics, and clinical massage. Publicly, she teaches general classes in massage as well as courses for couples.
